Favre not under deadline says McCarthy

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that quarterback Brett Favre is under no deadline to decide his future with the Packers.

In a report appearing in the Green Bay Press-Gazette McCarthy said, “I don’t know where that got flipped. No different than the March 20 date. The word ‘deadline’ never came out of my mouth. There’s no deadline.”
