Outgoing Green Bay Packers director of player development George Koonce says that the Packers are going to add a "big name" on offense prior to training camp according to his comments on a Milwaukee radio show.So who's it going to be?
Michael David Smith over at Pro Football Talk mentioned a couple of possible has-beens in Keyshawn Johnson, Daunte Culpepper, and Corey Dillon.
Our very own Joe Davis says it should be Larry Johnson.
Perhaps the best rumor may be offered at Packer Update when a source for the site suggests, "Fans might want to keep a very close eye on L.J. Smith (pictured). There are already rumblings that Ted Thompson will go hard after the former Rutgers star should he make it to free agency next March.”
Smith is currently a tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles who is set to become a free agent next season. But could a trade be in the works yet this season?
