First defensive tackle Johnny Jolly couldn't pass a conditioning test, and now he has problems with jumping offsides despite being inches away from the football.
"Defensive tackle Johnny Jolly couldn't stay onside during one-on-one pass rush drills," reports Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "Though he had two pretty good rushes overall, his three offside infractions were inexcusable, given that he's lining up right over the ball."
Jolly had better watch himself. Just because he's a 2006 draft pick doesn't mean he's beyond getting cut. With the addition of Justin Harrell this season, it's likely that one of the defensive tackles that were with the team last year will be gone in 2007.
