Green Bay Packers safety Tyrone Culver could be the odd man out for the Green Bay Packers.
In his bid to win a job on the 53 man roster, Culver had a largely forgettable preseason finale against the Tennessee Titans.
The low point came when an injury forced him to leave the game on the same play that a punt return went for a touchdown against the Packers.
"Safety Tyrone Culver missed a tackle shortly after Davis caught the punt, leaving a hole up the middle," writes Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. "Adding insult to injury was Culver sustained a shoulder injury on the play."
Culver didn't exactly play poorly on defense. In fact, he put a nice lick on a receiver coming over the middle. But other than that, nothing else stood out.
The extent of his injury is unknown, but it looks like Charlie Peprah will win the last safety spot with the Packers.
