D-line is dinged up

There were a handful of injuries suffered along the defensive line this past Sunday at St. Louis.

Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports, "On Monday, nose tackle Ryan Pickett was recovering from a groin injury and rookie defensive tackle Justin Harrell a dislocated thumb, both suffered in the Packers' 33-14 victory over the St. Louis Rams Sunday. That was in addition to defensive tackle Corey Williams banging his knee and missing some time."

It looks as if Harrell will be able to play on Sunday almost for sure. He may even be able to play without a cast. A good taping job should suffice.

Pickett's injury is a little more serious, but he hasn't missed a game in over five years just to show how durable he is.

The duo are the team's two best run stuffing defensive tackles without Johnny Jolly and Colin Cole on the team. If either one of them were not able to play this upcoming weekend, the Packers could be vulnerable against the run up the middle.
