Kampman surprisingly absent

Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl defensive end Aaron Kampman was absent from Thursday's practice, which is enough to make fans baffled.

Kampman had no known injuries so his absence was a head scratcher.

Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports, "According to coach Mike McCarthy, end Aaron Kampman suffered back spasms at the start of the jog-through and rather than risk worsening them, he went up to the training room to receive treatment."

According to Silverstein, there is no need to worry, though.

"McCarthy didn't seem too concerned about Kampman," Silverstein went on to write.
