Changing his tune

Guess who wants back in Green Bay?

Javon Walker. Pause for laughing. No joke.

This is the same Javon Walker who wanted out of Green Bay because the Packers refused to renegotiate his deal after the 2005 season. The Packers gave him his wish when they dealt him to the Denver Broncos during the 2006 draft.

Now that 2006 and 2007 have seen two lackluster and injury plagued seasons for Walker, he wants out of Denver as well.

Walker stopped short of demanding a trade, but in a postseason interview Walker said that the Broncos were not the right fit for him anymore.

"Green Bay made me who I was for a team like (the Broncos) to want to bring me here," Walker is quoted as saying in an interview. "So, maybe it takes a team like that to go back."

Guess what, Javon? They don't want you.

Not with your high salary. And not with the current wide receiver corps that they have.

Whatever you say, Brian. Guys can mature and admit they made a mistake, maybe this is his way of saying he made a mistake by leaving Green Bay. A healthy Javon Walker is twice as good as Greg Jennings or James Jones. I'd take him back in a heart-beat, IF.. IF.. the price is right.

Walker can be a good receiver, but 1. he's often injured, 2. he's a cancer. The Packers don't need that.
