It's been a season full of accolades for Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre. Perhaps the title that's gotten the most attention has been Favre's choice as Sports Illustrated's Man of the Year.
That hasn't been all, though.
Just before practice on Friday, Favre was given the United States Sports Academy's athlete of the year award.
In addition Favre prevented Patriots quarterback Tom Brady from being a unanimous choice as the NFL's MVP.
Out of 50 votes, Favre received one to Brady's 49.
