Future Packer Nick Cleaver?

A representative of the Green Bay Packers was present at the recent New Mexico State pro day workouts.

One of the stars of the show (and likely who the Packers were there to see) was tight end/H-back Nick Cleaver (pictured).

Cleaver led all of the 14 Aggies working out for pro scouts in the vertical jump with a height of 34 1/2 inches, the broad jump with a distance of 10 feet, and the 40 yard dash with a time of 4.60 seconds.

“Cleaver opened a lot of eyes with his times and his workout,” Aggie strength and conditioning coach Matt Walter told New Mexico State's official website.

Now that the Packers are officially out of the running in the Kris Wilson sweepstakes, they'll be looking to add a tight end in the draft. And one of those H-back types could be perfect for them.
