We moved to Green Bay the year after Saint Vince left, but Lombardi's spirit hung around in that neat little city for a very long time! We had some ups & downs after Lombardi...but we always loved our Packers! Then along came that one-in-a-million athlete every football fan knows is going to be *the one*...Brett Favre. It's going to be pretty doggone weird when the new season starts and "he" isn't there. This video clip is a keeper, though. It's great!

WOW What a voice. She certainly says what those of us Cheeseheads are feeling. I, too,hope that she has the opportunity to sing at a recognition fame for Brett. Wonder if anyone knows any of the Packer players well enough to get this link sent to Brett. At the very least, I'd hope that Annette gets an autographed jersey, helmet or print from Brett...or the Packer organization.

Yeah, Elway is GREAT! He has about 150 fewer TD's and his completion percentage was 5% worse than Favre's. Elway won back to back superbowls...that just means he was on good teams. How is that a measure of individual performance? Elway was nowhere near the QB Favre was and the statistics back that up. Why don't you go get rocky mountain high with John Denver or something!

the big problem with favre is he was an average QB with a long career. if the brass in greenbay had any guts they would have canned him three years ago. brett stayed way past his prime and he didn't know how to let it go. if you put up the numbers of the other statistical leaders at QB and stretch their careers to 17 years, they would have destroyed any of bretts records, the difference is the gm's of the other teams had the balls to tell their QB to take a hike when their careers were on the down side. I think it is the best thing for team fudge to move on with new blood at QB.
