Packers play softball

The Green Bay Packers will reportedly field a softball team to play a fundraiser in Eau Claire on May 18.

Money raised for the game will go towards the professional Firefighters Association.

The Packers have put together a basketball team that would play in fundraising games during the winter months in the past, but there hasn't been any talk of those types of games this offseason. Maybe the softball game is taking its place.

Or maybe this is taking the place of Brett Favre's annual charity softball game usually played in Appleton.
