Packers to retire Favre's number

Plans are in the works to retire Brett Favre's number during a regular season game in the 2008 season.

There's no need to get our your calendars yet, no date has yet been picked out the occasion.

"Our plan and his is to retire his number sometime this season. And we will make a decision after the schedule comes out," Green Bay Packers president and CEO Mark Murphy told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Get ready for an all out war between green package and gold package season ticket holders as to which group will be able to attend the historic game. This ticket will be in demand to say the least.
