The Green Bay Packers have signed one of their own when they decided to keep linebacker and special teams standout Tracy White in the fold.
White has agreed to a two year $1.8 million contract with a $250,000 signing bonus.
The Pittsburgh Steelers also were looking to sign White, but the Packers offered better incentives in all phases of the game. The Packers eventually offered more money than the Steelers, they play a 4-3 where White is more comfortable and they also offer White a better chance to play on defense.
"The main thing is, I've got to get to the Pro Bowl," White told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "I've got unfinished business. I think I've got an excellent opportunity. I think they know that I'm like the special-teams guy."
