Introducing Home Talent Baseball

For those of you regular railbirds, I'd like to introduce you to another project of mine.

This summer I'll be undertaking the process of writing a book. It's going to be about the Home Talent amateur wood bat baseball league centered around Madison, Wisconsin.

What's interesting is that the guys in this league play for the love of the game. They don't get paid. They're just your average, everyday Joes. They're policemen, computer analysts, carpenters, and college students. And they put more time and effort into a sport they love than you think.

I'm starting to get to know some of the players and managers. I've already been to a handful of games, and I'll be road tripping to see more all summer long.

You can follow my travels and get to know some of these gentlemen on my Home Talent Baseball blog. You'll enjoy it if you're a fan of a good read.
