Here's what's going on in the world of the Green Bay Packers:
- Brett Favre might be retired, but he's not done playing football. Favre will be helping out at the 15th annual Colonial All-Pro Football Camp at the University of William & Mary and headed up by W&M coach Jimmye Laycock.
- Former Packers wide receiver from the Lombardi Super Bowl years, Boyd Dowler, will be helping out draft prospect Malcolm Kelly of Oklahoma. Kelly was involved in a bizzare incident in which he basically accused the Oklahoma strength and conditioning coach of purposely sabotaging his workout conditions when he was forced to run on a surface not of his liking. The result was a slower time in the 40 yard dash than what he desired. Unfortunately his rant bashing the University may have hurt his reputation. Dowler will be conducting a new workout in Atlanta for Kelly prior to the draft where no scouts will be invited. Dowler will be video of the workout to all 32 NFL teams and media outlets.
- The University of Green Bay athletic department will be holding its eighth annual Phoenix-Packers Steak Fry fundraiser on April 22 at Lambeau Field. The event usually includes auction items including Packers-themed prizes and Packers' guests in attendance.
