You gotta credit Packers general manager Ted Thompson for standing up for what he believes in.
He took a player at arguably the team's deepest position in wide receiver Jordy Nelson. It was eerily similar to last year when he took Justin Harrell when the team was loaded at defensive tackles at the time.
FYI, yes, Ted Thompson was booed once again at the draft party when he got chance to address the assembled crowd.
One particular fan on the second level of the of the Atrium voraciously booed Thompson that after awhile got other Packer fans mad.
In a change of heart, Thompson got a warmer greeting when he left the stage to a round of more applause than boos.
Keep it up, Ted. Don't let the booing stop you from doing what you think is best for the team.
