Edgar Bennett hosts charity event

For the fifth straight year, Green Bay Packers running back coach Edgar Bennett is hosting a celebrity Bowl-A-Thon for charity.

Funds go to the Angel Fund for Children with Cancer, Inc., a group that helps needy families in the Brown County area of Wisconsin.

"Lane sponsorships are available for $1,000 and include a team of four bowlers per lane, with each team joined by one Packers celebrity," reports Thomas Rozwadowski of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. "All participants receive a shirt, team photo, their company sign above their lane and access to a food and soda buffet. Individuals may also participate for $250, with each bowler also placed four to a lane."

There will be a silent auction with signed items from Aaron Kampman and new Packers president Mark H. Murphy.
