For what it's worth

Brett Favre is scheduled to appear via satellite as a motivational speaker at the Get Motivated seminar at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Wednesday August 13.

The Green Bay Packers currently have a training camp practice scheduled on the same day starting at 6:30 p.m.

The seminar is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. on August 13, and while they don't have an exact schedule of speakers, Favre is listed as appearing by satellite making it sound like he doesn't plan on actually being in Green Bay at the time.

Favre is supposed to give a speech entitled "How to Lead Your Team to Victory."

Just about the same time he was supposedly calling Mccarthy, demanding a return, he was interviewed by the Daily Press after a youth football camp. The substance of the article is "having fun not doing anything" and "don't plan on doing anything for a while' and "got out of football so I wouldn't have to do anything" etc. Further says he' only leisurely working out at the local high school--a different coloring than Scott Favre gave it. he also says there'll be rumors about a return, but he'll be mowing his lawn....

He's also supposed to be in Green Bay to present Frank Winters in the HOF. That is coming up soon!

ESPN is reporting that he sent a text message to Thompson but was advised "he would need to wait until Thompson returns from vacation before we can talk."
If Favre wants to come back than he should just say it. However, he should be prepared for the Packers to say no or you can come back but you are competing with Brohm for the back-up spot because Rodgers is now the starter.
